Become a Member of NOFFN!

NOFFN membership places you in a dynamic community of individuals, families, farms, and businesses that believe food justice and food security is essential to New Orlean.

Membership supports our work to ensure that all New Orleanians have access to fresh, locally grown, affordable food and to support the local farmers that grow it.

Starting in 2013, NOFFN Membership includes plant starts that will be distributed to members during 3 periods throughout the year:

  • hot crops (June)
  • fall crops (mid-August to mid-October)
  • spring crops (March to mid-April)

TomatoSeedlings

Individual – $25 per year

  • Plant Starts – 1 flat of vegetable transplants (approximately 54 plants)
  • Subscription to the NOFFN e-newsletter
  • Invitation to neighborhood food cluster activities and a discount at workshop classes

Reduced Rate (student/senior/fixed income) – $15 per year

  • Same benefits as Individual Membership

School/Community Garden – $50 per year

  • Plant Starts – 3 flats of vegetable transplants (approximately 162 plants)
  • Subscription to the NOFFN e-newsletter
  • Invitation to neighborhood food cluster activities and a discount at workshop classes

Farm/Organization – $75 per year

  • Plant Starts – 6 flats of vegetable transplants (approximately 324 plants)
  • Subscription to the NOFFN e-newsletter
  • Invitation to neighborhood food cluster activities and a discount at workshop classes

Members Not Requesting Plants – $10 per year

  • No Plant Starts included
  • Subscription to the NOFFN e-newsletter
  • Invitation to neighborhood food cluster activities and a discount at workshop classes

Supporting Membership Levels – $150, $250, $500

  • Same benefits as Individual Membership along with:
    • Invitations to exclusive NOFFN donor events
    • Personal updates on program successes and project initiatives
    • Two complimentary tickets to NOFFN Special Events
